Q&A
ASH & IRON – Questions & Answers
Who is ASH & IRON for?
ASH & IRON is for people who train heavy and seriously.
If you load plates, brace hard, and care about performance over aesthetics, you’re in the right place. If you’re looking for trendy gym accessories, this probably isn’t for you.
Are your belts suitable for powerlifting and heavy compound lifts?
Yes. Our belts are built specifically for squats, deadlifts, overhead presses, and heavy compound movements. They’re designed to provide consistent support under max effort loads.
What makes ASH & IRON belts different from others?
We don’t design gear for marketing photos—we design it for hard sets.
That means:
Thick, durable materials
Strong, reliable buckles
No shortcuts in construction
Built to last through years of heavy training
Simple. Functional. Serious.
Do I need a lifting belt?
If you’re lifting light, no.
If you’re pushing heavy weight and training progressively, a belt helps you brace harder, stay tight, and lift safer under load.
A belt doesn’t make you strong—but it helps you use the strength you’ve earned.
What about lifting straps?
Our straps are built for heavy pulls, long sets, and grip-fatiguing sessions. They’re ideal for deadlifts, rows, shrugs, and any movement where grip becomes the limiting factor before your back or legs.
Are your products beginner-friendly?
ASH & IRON gear works for anyone, but it’s designed with serious training in mind. If you’re new to lifting, we recommend learning proper technique first, then adding support gear as the weights get heavier.
How do I choose the right size?
Each product page includes a clear sizing guide. Measure your waist where you normally wear a lifting belt, and choose accordingly. If you’re between sizes, size up for comfort.
How long will your belts and straps last?
With proper use and care, they’re built to last years, not months. These are tools, not disposable accessories.
Train hard. Take care of your gear. It’ll hold up.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide. Shipping times and costs are calculated at checkout.
What if my gear doesn’t fit or I’m not satisfied?
If something isn’t right, contact us. We’ll work with you to make it right. We stand behind what we build.
Why the name ASH & IRON?
Because strength is what remains after pressure does its work.
Excuses burn away. Weakness breaks down. What’s left is ash and iron.
